Yup, yer gonna love yer *** barreled rig. Congrats on it. Nice hog down. The T.B.P.S. is smiling on you as well. Don't forget to add your kills to the hog counter for the year.

Totally agree. I've had the *** barrel (in another upper) for about two months. Taken several hogs with it so far and the accuracy is unparalleled. I'll add my kills to counter...thanks for the tip!

43.5" so close! yet so far. It isn't often I sit in one spot for more then an hour and a half. The neighbors corn field has been getting hit hard the last 3 weeks. I have my cellular game cam setup overlooking the edge of our hayfield where a few spots have been beat down with foot traffic from hogs crossing to get to the corn field. I've had 4 to 5 pictures every morning on my cell phone, most were after midnight. Its not often I stay out much past 10 pm but I decided I was going to stay out till 1 am. At 8 pm I parked the truck along the fence line next to the corn field, 300 yards give or take from the game camera. I usually climb on top of the truck with the tripod for an elevated view, but decided to stay on the ground. By 10:50 I was half board out of my mind and decided to walk the 250 or so yards to my elevated deer stand to see if there was anything in the corn field. I stopped at about half way to take a quick scan of the hay field, and there he was. 5 seconds later my phone dinged with the photo of him crossing into the hay field. I moved about 15 ft towards him, and decided he was about 100 yards away and setup the tripod. He had a slow pace and was nearly broadside, I took aim at his neck and pulled the trigger. Boom DRT! Lights out!

FB_IMG_1466980769076.jpgWe went hunting several places last night. One of them is mostly corn fields. After many trips to this place we finally found the hogs. We were only able to shoot one along a fence row as it went into the corn. Andrew and I both shot him at the same time with our 6.8s. One shot was below and in front of the eye. The other shot was below and behind the ear. Needless to say the big sow dropped right there and didn't twitch after taking a pair of 120SSTs. We also shot another pig on the first place we hunted. However that was a zombie pig and it kept getting up and running away. We hit about 5 times all with 120ssts.

IMG_20160629_214225_899.jpgSitting on a corn field with pig damage waiting for pigs to come in and Mr. And Mrs. Coyote comes in. Dropped the female at 175yards and the male took off running back the way they came. Lucky for me he closed the distance. I dropped him on a full run at 150 yards.
