That's what I run also. Mine have been on since 2008 but they are pretty worn down now. About time for some more.

Goodyear silent armors, best things since sliced bread. Nearly flat proof, which is a big thing out here in the sharp shale rock and chamise stobs.
Expensive as hell, but cheaper than buying tires before they are worn out.

Good info on the tires. RD, I haven't had siped tires since 2003 when I lived in Kent, WA as a teenager. No need for it here in the south.

The siping will prolong tread wear while helping on wet pavement!

The siping will prolong tread wear while helping on wet pavement!
The siping allows the tires to also remain cooler, promoting the longer tread life. The additional "edges" created provide improved traction... for both stopping and acceleration. Wet pavement is where it's really noticed.
