I haven't figured out why it's not consistent?

Do you know why sometimes the full reticle is displayed in the video and sometimes it's not?

Has to do with DVR recording rendering as its made to do. When converting to digital some horizontal lines are dropped. That is why verticle part of reticle is always visible. The thicker the horizontal line of the reticle the better it should show up.
