Well...I got my LadyBug Drone today. Smaller than expected but the blades turn at about 4 million miles a second so that is good.
Came with no directions except for pairing it to the controller. Spelling wasn't great but pictures had close resemblance to actual unit, that's good. I guess everyone but me knows how to operate the controller including all the little buttons and switches I probably should not have been playing with. lol
Flight #1 2.3 seconds, almost ripped off my left ear, dog ran off. hmmm (she still has not returned)
Flight#2 Straight up about 80mph, I freaked out and hit the down button. It came down at 90 mph. total time 5 or 6 seconds. That's better a bit. Kind of.
Flight #3 Straight up and then across the fence into ditch, upside down chopping grass, I can hear it but takes a while to find it.
Flight#4 Goes up and directly to the right into chain link fence.
Flight #5 I actually feel like I am making progress somehow, but I really am not. Up 20 feet, back down into other fence. Tangled upside down in grass again.
I set it on the table and went on to other projects.
Maybe tomorrow will be more awesome drone play!

OMG this is like the first time I saw Oso fly one. I knew I would crash it. He did not give me the chance.

Ahhh.....tomorrow is another day. I did get a little offended when the dog ran off. I didn't think she could tell how bad I was, I hollered, "hey, where are you going", she looked back one quick time and kept on going. Mutt

RD, let me tell you about the "Go Stick". This little toy which is in no way a "toy", it is a menacing little buzzing dangerous piece of machinery that has full intentions of impaling you! On the other hand the box they give you with the "Go stick" to control it, may have cost about $1.25 to make it. Go figure.

Ya, the "go stick" can be a little touchy.

My cats aren't any happier with these things. As soon as they hear a motor spin up, they run off to another room.

Any damage to the unit? Learn to fly upside down and you have a remote controlled weedeater!

That thing is remarkably tough. I couldn't take it anymore and fired it up in the house and wham straight up into the ceiling and then upside down on my bear skin rug. Now the props are full of bear hide I have to unwind. I need lots of practice.

That's why I recommend the ladybird as a starter quad. Just picture if that little thing had enough power to actually cut some flesh!
