Last time I was in Kansas with friends , we chopped the breasts into 1" chunks, deep fried them in beer batter (fish batter) and passed around the bowl. Man that was good stuff.nice pics... whats the best way to cook wild turkey? slow smoke?
It is kind of a pain, but I used to brine, air dry in fridge and then slow smoke (not to exceed 225 degrees) with some cherry and apple wood. Juiciest turkey I ever had.nice pics... whats the best way to cook wild turkey? slow smoke?
I hope you Spring Turkey shoot. Man that is a lot of birds!I have the same problem. At my place, the turkeys keep eating all the hog corn. Heck, the deer aren't even getting any.
