Tragedy in Stephens County

[Chopperdrvr]

I went back to my daughter's house this weekend to continue some unfinished business with the hog vermin that were damaging the hay crop. This time we met up with Afalex1 for the nights adventures. Alex graciously provided a spare rifle with thermal for my daughter to use. We only found one sounder for the night, but it was classic.

Later in the night we educated a couple coyotes that it wasn't a good idea to prowl around the open field at night. However, unlike Brian Shaffer, no coyotes were harmed during this training session.

Looks like you got all of them? Nice.

[Chopperdrvr]

Yeah, no one got out alive. IT WAS TRAGIC!

[RattlesnakeDan]

You guys cleaned up! Good job!

[OneK]

Awesome!

Hog slayers!

[Brian Shaffer]

Well, they won't be telling their friend anything!

[Chopperdrvr]

We killed at least 34 hogs on that 40 acres in 2 weeks. Hopefully they didn't have too many friends left to tell.

Nice! Are ya going to move up to the 30 round mags?

Not likely, I usually have one as a back up, but they are just too awkward for carrying around most of the time. I just need to make my shots count a little better. lol

Ya put that girl to work slingin' bodies! Buy her breakfast afterwards?

Heck no! I was the guest. BTW, she didn't sling any bodies but she could out-do me any day.

My hero... make her cook breakfast after the hunt!

i love finding hogs in fields with haybales. use them for cover and get right up to them for some serious pig blasting.

Good hogs down!

[gshock]

Took out that group! They didn't know what to do when you took out the lead.
