So I'm starting a new project

I was looking at those measurements as well. That's the same problem I'm being told I will have with the 38 as well

What is the OD of the lever gun barrel?

At .640 you could have 5/8-24 threads cut and use the fixed barrel adapter Silencero provides. Here is a video of a mares leg turned sbr with a 9mm osprey. Leveraction Rifle with Suppressor:

Maybe find a different smith or send it to Adco?

I watch all these videos and know it's exactly the same as my rifle. I just need to order the suppressor and start the process. Once I have it in hand I'll get the rifle done. I have now had 3 shops tell me they won't do it because it's not possible. Well the video proof is there so it's possible.

Strip the barrel off, send it to Adco with the specs from http://www.silencerco.com/product-support/

Once the barrel is back, take it to one of your local guys and have them cut the mag tube down. Hopefully they can handle that.

The mag tube is the easy part but after all their answers I'm not sure I want to give them any business. Secondly I don't want to pull the barrel. Closest I have found so far is a friend in South Dakota has a gunsmith that said he will do it. I just need to get all the dimensions for the suppressor so he will know how many threads to cut and what not. The octane 45 has a replicable piston to use on different thread pitches. I might be able to order just that and send it with the rifle

I have an octane 45, but I don't have a 9mm piston. You dont want to use a piston anyway. It will turn the suppressor into a slide hammer on the end of the barrel. There is not a need for a Nielson device on a fixed barrel rifle. Thread it 5/8-24 and get this to go with your suppressor. http://www.store.silencerco.com/products/thread-mount

Or thread it .578-28 get this http://www.store.silencerco.com/collections/handgun/products/fixed-barrel-spacer and this http://www.store.silencerco.com/collections/handgun/products/osprey-pistons .

The fixed mount looks like the way to go

If the OD of the barrel is .640 and you put 5/8'24 threads on it there won't be much of a shoulder for the can to index on, but it should be enough. .015-.020 is a very small shoulder. I think 1/2-28 would be too small and leave way too thin of a wall between major ID (.451-.453) of the bore and minor OD (.465-475 guessing no book with me) of the threads. You should be able to get away with 5/8-24 and a .015 shoulder. ALWAYS have a can or thread protector on it to protect the shoulder and threads from nicks and dings.

I was thinking of a small muzzle break for when I don't have a can on it

Muzzle break will have to be timed with shims or crush washer or be specially made to thread and time specifically for that rifle. Not a major issue, but one more thing. Something like a vortex flash hider doesn't require timing.

I would select a different weapon

If I was going that route I would have it made just for that rifle
