When they're running right at you, time to drip the SLEDGE HAMMER!

Good killin'.

225 yard heart shot through brush and it drops! Mighty nice shot!

Good job but I noticed your creedmore needs 2 things Ed. First, feed that poor child and don't leave it hungry. 2nd, you don't have a can on that thing yet!?!?

It was hungry that’s for sure.
And can? What can do you speak of?

Putting 'em down good!

Nice work, Keep After 'Em!

I was being snarky. I don't want a 30" barrel. Refuse to pay "extra" fee. I've yet to be convinced it's going to up my hog count.

Your rig, and your choice on the can...
But consider what Taco said about using the brake while hunting with others.
Also remember TLM's recommendation to shoot the farthest hog in the group,, when shooting suppressed the bullet strike on your target is much louder than the suppressed muzzle... making the other hogs run away from your now dead hog, and toward you..
Suppressors normally reduce recoil - probably better than your brake - but I can't say I have tested that... maybe someone else will chime in.

Regardless, nice hogs down. Congrats!

I’ll echo what he said about shooting the farthest animal away from you.

There have been more than a handful of occasions where I’ve taken a shot at something that was an unknown distance away.

In my mind I’m if I’m going to miss this shot, miss high. Causing the bullet impact on the ground past the animal, driving the animal toward me away from the sound of the impact.

This has worked several times for me and I don’t know that it would have worked with an un suppresses rifle the same way?
