Picked up a rare bird today.
A Savage 93M Classic T
.17 cal Has a beautiful Walnut Polished Thumbhole stock and High Lustre blueing. It's almost too pretty to shoot.
Apparently they only made them for a short time and were too expensive to sell very well so they quit making them soon afterwards.
Lol. I've got a couple 17's, fun to shoot. Got some pea's too, not a lot, but enough for a while. Amazing how hard it still is to get some types of ammo.
I need to start searching for some ammo. I have about 50 rds is all. I do have some 22 mag that I may do some trading. 22 mag might be even harder to find.
I used to have a 17 hmr when they first came out, I lived in Colorado and it stayed in my truck, shot a lot of critters with it but I don't remember what grain I was shooting or what was good ammo. Any suggestions
