So Dave and I got this property a couple of months ago that is just down from several of Dave's other properties. Come to find out, the owner is actually a guy that did some work for me and we found him by knocking on doors (his door being nowhere near the property by Dave's). It was 40+ acres, nothing much, but we often saw hogs on it. Sometimes we hunt it together, sometimes separately and send the videos to the owner.
So he calls me out of the blue (which he has never done) and says he has another place that has some hogs on it. He says he is happy with what we have done on the first place, likes seeing the videos, and hopes we can help out on this other place. There is a tenant living on the property who has been complaining about the hogs and apparently the tenant really wants them gone. I go out and tour the place with the owner and he mentions that hogs have been busy around his house as well and would we be interested in dealing with them? So he and I drive over to his place and take a tour there as well.
At neither place did I see much in the way of damage, but I did see droppings. I said I would come back that night and check things out. I started with the property with the tenant. I arrived well before dark, brought out a little stool and sat down at one end of the property and waited for the sun to go down. I watched the cattle, deer, and geese, in the uncultivated areas and in the 20ish acre wheat field. Then the first hogs came out and there was nothing I could do. It was still daylight and they would easily see me long before I ever got close to them. So I waited....
