Finally got back in the field after all this rain and spied a sounder in a cornfield. Of course they approached me from the opposite direction that I was set up for. I had a big tree on my left and high weeds on my right so I didn't have that big of a window to shoot out of. Finally had to settle for the last one in line as they drifted away. It was about 135 yds and the shot hit low in the chest behind the front leg. In spite of the wound you can still see how far she was able to run. Wasn't a big hog but it was significant to me in that it was my 50th confirmed kill. Was shooting 120g SSTs.
