I Love Early Kills

[diggler1833]

That means a good night's sleep!

Caught this dude doing some work out in one of my pastures and took care of him.

I really thought he was a small shoat...turns out he was just further than I thought (doh). So I took a hasty shot and got lucky with it.

The bullet entered behind the front leg, hit the spine I'm assuming as well as must have done some arterial/heart damage due to all the blood, and exited the same side behind the ear.

Quick vid...

Beautiful sunset, but better looking hog.

Now, THAT is a hog in his best state of being... bled out in a soupy/muddy pit. Congrats.

Well done, sir!

Good boar down!! Crazy amount of blood!

[erForman]

Nice surprise to find out he was bigger than you thought.

[der Teufel]

Way to go! Putting them down with authority.

Good shooting! I like the early hunts too. Old folks need their rest! Good hog down
