I started hunting last night with my 300 HAM’R and took this large boar. Later that night I switched to a 6.8 SPC. I shot three more smaller hogs with two shots. I use the 115gr MSR Fusion ammo and it worked great as I was able to take two of these hogs with one shot. I was also able to take a porcupine with the 6.8. I had a lot of fun. The 6.8 is my original hunting AR that I bought when I wanted to upgrade from the .223. It is a Stag 7H and is crazy accurate with the Federal ammo.
