She wants you to know she is there!

Hard to run with the big dogs when you pee like a puppy.

Better hurry up and get in on that bear quota. You need a bear rug anyhow.

Dang always wanted a Bear rug. Go get it.

I wonder how unusual it is for a bear to be out foraging in the daytime?

Very common in these parts, and up north as well. Not at all surprised at your pix.

Thanks RD, evidently not here either. Glad he is not the 700lb one! Maybe this is why when we hunt at night we are in a stand? Gators and bears roam at night and we have both.

LOL... yeah, let's not forget about cougars too. They love creeping around in the dark.

sssshhhh, so far we have not seen one

One of my first bear hunts in Montana with my longbow and wood arrows, I tracked a bear in the snow for hours. I finally got a glimpse of him headed into the thick part of the woods, he was blonde colored and long fur looked like a blanket. I was pretty excited but had never been this close to a bear before. I used the wind and slowly snuck above the bear, he had gone into a small patch of brush next to some big logs. I got about 20 yds away and could see and hear him doing something, then I realized he was crunching bones and I saw a deer leg flopping around. I was so close but I got myself all wound up and nervous and backed up out of there and left. I blew a great opportunity but that crunching bones 20 yds away broke my concentration, and I couldn't finish.

Brown bear, or a blonde black? A feeding brownie... with a stick/string in hand... that could be quite unnerving.

Ha, if it was a brown bear/grizz...I sure as heck wouldn't track it!!!
