yeah I have 2 sows I try to protect as breeders and then pick off the off spring as the get big enough to eat. We had a lot more hogs than this but so far this year the 14 or so shoats, 2 sows and 1 random boar are all I have caught on cams. I believe there are others on the lease, I just don't have cams there.

Frank that is a bunch of hogs on July 4th and 97 at 5:30 pm no telling what humidity was 85%. Not sure if I would have been able to keep sweat out of my scope eye.

Yeah Rob, the humidity is high but really not bad if you don't move and are in a stand, spot and stalk and you are drenched!

The pics of the cats on page 1 are not the kind of cougars I hunt here in the city.. Theyre the only thing that give me the heebie jeebies when I'm out on foot at the ranch at night.

Hopefully this guy will stick around till the end of the month when I get out there again though.

Looks like he's using your water hole for a swimming pool.

WTF.JPG What the hell is that animal in the back right behind the deer?

It looks like some sort of predator, but the deer are just standing there.

I don't think so. The front deer is a spotted fawn. That animal is smaller and darker than the deer.

Looks like a fawn to me, which would be why nothing is spooked. Part of the reason it is dark is because it is further back and not getting splashed by the flash. Note the adult deer on the right, still getting splashed, but just barely, is darker than the rest as well.

The ears are spread too far laterally to be canid or felid (bobcat). Tail doesn't look right for a canid. Body shape is wrong for a felid.

Might be another deer almost looks like a young yote? Maybe not someone with good picture software could tell us. No ran through Adobe it is a fawn. Tail was not long enought.
