I lost a calf sometime early Friday, and am suspecting coyotes had something to do with it since it was half eaten by that afternoon and completely gone by Saturday morning.

I have actually killed four coyotes since then, one during the day and three at night.

Long story short, I keep coming across 'yotes in the middle of my spring calves here and have been shooting as many as I can. I don't know where they are all coming from.

...So I busted two Saturday night, the first ran into a mess of greenbriars and died, but the second I lucked out on a running shot and spined it. The Trail XQ38 doesn't have the best image, but you can still see it go rolling.

The second one may have been luck, but you get credit for it!
Nice shot.

Luck, or intentional... no matter. One more dead, is one more dead. All that matters at day's end.

I’m with Ratdog- it’s another dead one. That’s what is important. Good shooting.

Good coyotes down!! Definitely a crazy shot on the 2nd coyote!
