Not my story but figured you guys might have some ideas..... Or at least would want to see it.

So, my in-laws live on a ranch in Morgan Hill, CA and they shot a wild pig on it. They thought it a normal pig until they cut it open.

That's kinda creepy. Would definitely speak (to me) of something long term in this animal's diet. Now, the push comes... "ban copper bullets !" (You know how THAT crowd thinks.) Please post up "the rest of the story" when the results come back.

That's what happens to you when you get out there in one of those whacko states and start thinking your entitled to everything. Your danged insides go turning blue on you.

I've seen hogs up near Appalachicola National Forest years ago that we killed, and the fat on them was pink. We threw the first 3 or 4 we killed away, thinking there was something wrong with them. Then we found out there was a local plant called "pink root" that caused the fat to turn pink. All the locals said they were fine, so any we killed after that we kept. They all laughed when we asked what was wrong with the pigs we had been killing that had pink fat disease.
