I made a run to a property where the hogs have been missing since mid April. My last kill there 4/16, and no hogs on the cameras until July 10...This hunt is 7/29 beginning about 10pm, cloudy dark and moonrise starting behind the clouds.
Thermal shows a sounder on the feeder, roll barrel, and soured corn hole. I make it through the gate quietly, and start toward the feeding hogs.
Set up the tripod about 50 yards away from the critters, turned off the PVS-14, and nuked the Trijicon Mk3 - 35mm.
Decided to start with the biggest boar, and see where this hunt would go. Watch what happens with the little hog down in the corn hole when the first shot breaks...
Dropped four hogs, 2 about 200-225lbs, and 2 little critters 60-70lbs or so.
After watching the video, I find a fifth hog was drilled but made it into the creek.
Hopefully the Mexican air force will find missing hog #5 for me.

Holy Moly! That was like Whack a Hog game at the county fair!

Good killin' there Dennis. I think those buzzards will help you find another notch or two.

Nice job. That Herrett kills ‘em pretty good!!

What bullet do you use? I like the speer TNT in mine.

Good shooting and good hogs down! Looks like there was a hog that came back while you were scanning!
