Did a creek sneak to see what I could see. Mostly saw mosquitoes and sweat in my eyes. I had a few missed opportunities for quick shots in the thick brush but couldn't make it happen. They appear and disappear so fast in the thicket, it is fun but can get frustrating also. Finally a couple sows ran towards me before dark as they were headed out into the open fields. I was able to smack them hard with the 458 Socom at close range, the second one at about 10 feet, no chance to get her in the scope just blast from the best guess and hit her in the jugular it seems. Pretty fun.

The 458 will knock them down every time. I’m working on a cast load now and I think it will go deer hunting with me this year

Yeah. I love my 525 pile driver. It’s accurate as hell and you can hear the impact when it hits something at 100 yards
