The technology to do this already exists to do this over your smartphone. I tested it. For many reasons, not my cup of tea. To each his own...

Over your smart phone IF you have coverage in the area you are hunting, with no signal they are useless.

Well, that is sort of a given. Dumb phones are useless without coverage as well. All of them are useless if their batteries are dead. The point here being is that the technology is available and it can be done. Whether or not the proper infrastructure to support such an endeavor is in place is a whole other matter. Where the infrastructure is in place, it can be done.

Sounds good, but there are still several other considerations that make this a less than optimal practice at this time. There are several technological reasons people don't Skype all the time, for example.

Well you are going to have to call early in the day you are going hunting all the contacts that want to watch, then a time to come on. Is skype what you want to use?
