The Echo1 is a slightly >200 resolution 1x optic, 2x digital, 30hz. So it is still pretty low resolution as Sean noted, but more than quadrupal that of the Torrey Pines Logic T10 units and with a significantly larger lens and larger price. Sig claimed detection to 1000 yards and targeting out to 300 yards. I think that may be a bit optimistic. I didn't see anything on how far you can ID something, but at 200 resolution and no optical magnification, I think that will bring hog level identification (versus deer versus calf) down below 100 yards based on actual size/shape. The Echo1 is more of a reflex sight and going to be most useful at shorter distances as you would typically use a reflex sight
