Yup, 100% for real.
Heard that one of the deadliest catch guys found a dead walrus in the middle of the sea.
This was actually caught on tape.
They sawed off the teeth and a guy kept them.
He actually got a visit from the Feds and he had to turn it over to them.
Saw it on their pre season show.

Harvesting is ok, IF you're an Alaska Native... as is owning/buying/selling raw materials (between fellow Natives). Of which, I am. Non-Natives may purchase/own craft items done by a Native... best to have it signed by the artisan.
