Hunt was on 05/13/2017 at 10:06 p.m 55 degree with 64% humidity. Rifle was Aero Precision 6.8 spc built by me. *** 12.5 barrel, Wilson combat suppressor, Armasight Zeus 640 3-24 75mm 30hz. 110 ProHunter handloads FPS 2475~. The coyote was not recovered (NR)

The coyote showed how tuff they really are, even if you think they were a goner.

Coyotes are like big hogs....they have a nature to run even when they should be dead!

That sucks. I've lost a number of coyotes like that who should never have gotten back up. They can be tough for such a small thin skinned critter.

The way you folded him up, he looked like he'd been poked with a fork, and was done.

Well, Not Recovered does not mean you didn't kill him - that is a dead dog. The buzzards and crows will clean him up.
