Lactating Coyote

Well, this is the time of year to start new generations and the coyotes are doing it too. I had a pair come in together and I managed to shoot the female that was lactating. She didn't look/feel pregnant, so her litter was elsewhere. I suspect that their chances for survival took a major decline.

Hey Brian, next time give the fleeing yote a medium volume bark or two. I always have a homemade "bark tube" hanging around my neck when calling in the day with regular scope,or night time with thermal. --- pruhdlr
