Angry bird was some 700-800 yards away and after the pig went down, it started to drizzle. Besides listening to Angry Bird complain about being wet, tiny sow just wasn't worthy of all the extra walking to get Angry Bird in the pics...like Frank said. You see, Angry Bird doesn't usually hunt. Angry Bird guards the vehicle while I hunt.

Yeah, I am excited. It has been about 6 weeks since my last hog and 20 days since abdominal surgery and I popped the guy between squalls in the storm. I'll check on the map and tape him when the rains stop but it looks like 120 yards and 145 lbs with my new 6.5 Grendel.

LOL, the hog came out between bands of rain, got shot, and after I found it, a new band came through and I retreated to the stand for another hour before it passed. I had enough time to get a couple of pics with a real camera and get to the car before the next band hit. So yeah, too wet for Angry Bird. I did show him the pictures, however. The kids did a happy dance as well!
