This guy showed up the night before, so I patterned him. 
It was getting close to his arrival time and I was doing my scans and noticed a raccoon. I thought I would try to get some B roll for the video and when I turned on my rifle scope and like magic, the coon was gone and the boar was there. He walked behind the feeder, ignoring the corn, doing his security checks, so I shot him below his eye.
The shot was through and through. While the brain case was untouched, the hydrostatic pressure resulted in significant brain hemorrhaging such that he bled out of his right ear.
I got him gutted and called my buddy up the road who came and and collected him. My buddy took him to the processor and somebody else in Forestburg will have a processed hog in a few days.
