HELP- thermal for PCP air rifle

Hello, been wanting to get a thermal for a FX IMPACT PCP Air rifle, for coon hunting, ratting etc.
Considering the IR Patrol M300W with helmet for viewing and possibly as a rifle scope all in one. Also want one for the PCP, and or as a clip-on for my ACOG.
Due to the fact that the drop after 50 yds is about 4 mil dots on my Hawk sidewinder scope dedicated to a Daystate Regal, I assume the FX Impact will perform similarly.
I read a negative review by Todd from 2014 on the IR Hunter.
Looking for suggestions. Thanks!
