So you have to shoot behind the pig instead of leading them?
Not quite. It's more like you shoot into the hog's past to avoid the bullet arriving in his future.

Warping of the space time continuum will be fixed in the next FW upgrade. Not quite. It's more like you shoot into the hog's past to avoid the bullet arriving in his future.

So, if you're fast enough, even though the hog disappears into the woods you can still shoot and the bullet will catch up and hit it?Yeah, it is a strange, time warping technology.
I can see you won't be here very long. No, we aren't. We're talking about the statement *you* made that waterproof equals no sound. That statement is false. Lots of waterproof devices have sound. The waterproof Pulsar scopes have mics and will soon be able to record sound. There's no reason the PTS233 shouldn't have sound and also be waterproof.
Dear Gang,
I'm a long time follower of Lone Star Boars (and watcher of Todd Huey videos), and honestly thought I'd already joined and asked questions in the forum at some point in the past, but apparently haven't. So, this is my first post.
I've got a question for Todd and everyone else: I really like the "red hot" mode on my FLIR monocular (an LS-64 unit), so this new FLIR scope is appealing to me for this feature alone. I get the impression that the new Pulsar Healon monocular can do this, too, but not the Pulsar Trail scope. Is this a correct presumption?

The 12 micron flir has better contrast I think but due to lack of focus I would say they are on par for sharpness. If you do. Not care about recording the only benefit to the flir would be the extra color options, and the ADM mount. Is the quality of the image on these comparable to the RXQ30V?
I just found out about this TI and took possession of an RXQ yesterday. Trying to decide if it's worth returning it and waiting for this unit. Personally, video isn't a big deal to me, however, if I ever wanted to sell it and upgrade, the video capability of this unit would be a plus.
Yes FLIR uses shutterless systems. What about the NUC?
Is the PTS233 auto nuc like the Thermosight RS series?
