First hog hunt of 2016

Not a lot of pigs out yet in our part of the world.
My nephew got off a couple of shots Saturday night.
I seem to be having an issue getting the right combination
of contrast,sharpness,smart scene on my scope. In this video
the smart scene is off and the picture is still not so clear.
The humidity was not an issue at around 30%. Maybe I'm
still missing something. The more I watch it could just be the focus.

The smart scene on my Zeus pro bugs the snot out of me. I sent it back to armasight and it was supposedly fixed. Took it out to check zero and it looks exactly like it did when I sent it. The return was prompt and they didn't charge me but I can't tell any difference. It's a shame that a Zeus 640x75 is better than my pro. I have played with all settings and Nuc ed it. No change. It's ok to shoot but you wonder what's back behind the target . I guess I'll send it back again. Great hunt!!! Cool Hand Luke is deadly.

Dead pigs don't care how the video looks. But if I had dropped that kinda coin on a thermal scope I would probably feel the way you do. Good luck on the return and the pig hunting!

I have two Zeus 640x75's and there is diffidently a difference in the two with the exact same settings. No matter what I can't get the one to look as good as the best one does. I'm guessing not everything is not manufactured to the same spec's.

Nice hunt. I have new firmware in my Zeus Pro, even though the video looks outstanding for closer targets, looks like crap further out. Don't think it's different with new firmware, think it was that way before. I also found some anomalies which I'll post later once I process.
