I asked my wife if she would like to go hog hunting with me next spring/summer and she said yes. The problem is, she had shoulder surgery a while back. It's completely healed, but she's still recoil sensitive. She can shoot 223 with very little discomfort, so what would be the best round to use? Also, would this be a good excuse to get another caliber? Is there anything out there that has a light/mild recoil but provides more punch?
Last thing, what's a good round for 308? If 223 is her option, I'd probably use my 308.
Thanks.
