I went out tonight to fill a feeder so I can take my nephew hunting in a few days. Brought my equipment in case I came across a potential "big pig contest" winner. After filling the feeder I saw 3 hogs in a pasture just across a fenceline that divides the property I can hunt from one I can't. I decided to record the hogs with my iPhone behind the pvs-14/3x magnifier. Started recording just in time for the action!

Sorry for poor quality. I was holding the phone behind the ocular lens with my left hand and controlling the gun propped on the fence with my right. If I woulda been able to shoot him, at least he woulda gone out on top!

3 nice hogs out there. The light or illumination vessel was the Luna elir 3?? The hogs could have cared less about you shining them?? BANG BANG!!

PS can you zero that in or is it just used for lighting up the target??

Curly- u can adjust the size of the beam from a flood light to a laser point with the luna elir 3. But it will not hold zero. If u twist the adjustment knob beam to a laser point and push on or wiggle that knob at the front of the unit it will definitely shift the point of impact where the laser is pointing.

From the video it seems like it does a fair job of lighting the area and the hogs didn't seem to mind, but I did notice at least one was pre occupied with a purpose!! BANG BANG!!
