anyone running a 1-8x24 strike fire? I'm wanting to pull the trigger on one but concerned about reticle size and brightness, especially in low light conditions. (Basically how does it compare to my eotech reticle) Would be nice if the reticle wasn't always illuminated but I think it is???
Thanks

I've had one for for a couple of months now. For the money it's a decent value. I got it to replace a Trijicon ACOG TA648-308 as it's about half the weight. The Strike Eagle reticle isn't always lit, you control illumination with a dial 0-11 (0 being off). The reticle is a little thick but I'm not using it for long range target shooting. Works well for quick acquisition.
