I'm new to hog hunting. A friend in AL who's just bought some property there has a significant hog problem. So, I'm helping him out with mitigation and have come here to learn the ropes, tip, tricks and tactics.
Thanks Todd for all the awesome free information.
    Respectfully,
    Sam

Indeed, its going to be fun. If only I were a richer man. It seems in this realm, one can quickly catch a case of GAD (gear acquisition disorder).
DO you all book hunts out there in TX?
    Thanks,
    Sam

The only hogs (here) in Seattle are the one wearing the pink hats with ears. No open season on those either. What's a feller to do?

Sam, If you can find ammo, buy all you can and get to shootin'. That's one way to get rid of them.
