Curious what you NV folks are running to suppress flash.
Also curious if you could step up to something what would you get?
I know cans are the best option but just enquiring.

I never noticed the flash with nv on any of my rifles Colt M4, Bison 6.8, or the M1a. All had the stock flash hiders.

I use the smith vortex flash suppressor. I used an A2 birdcage and a couple of other flash suppressors I machined, but the smith vortex does the best job. I noticed the flash more on my 7.62x39 with a 16" barrel than I did the 6.8. Maybe it was the cheap Russian powder of the Tulammo belching out the barrel before it all burned.

I run the PWS/PRI on the end of my 18" Bison. All I see is a white flash that is gone as fast as the recoil is. If I have black hot selected I see nothing. Looking thru my ATN/ThOR it will not give the effects of night blindness at all. --- pruhdlr

+1 on the kies, used one before suppressor. Directs sound downrange as well.

Yep especially nice when shooting at the range or in a group hunt.

Don't get me started on concussion bombs from neighboring shooters at the local gun ranges.....

Those who've owned Kies. What is maintenance on that if any. Understand I shoot less then 300 rounds a year.

Same as a2, brush it off and wipe with oil if you like to keep it looking good.
