Drone Images of Milo Damage

This time of the year is the beginning of the time period where our milo fields are just hammered by hogs. We currently have several thousand acres planted in milo and all of which in very heavy hog populated areas. Now that the milo is turning red and getting close to harvest it is exactly where the hogs favor it most. Night after night hundreds of pigs go into these fields and wreak havoc on the crops. That's where we come in and do our best at killing as many as we can! Getting rid of a chunk of the population helps decrease the damage and in return helps the farmer earn more income from his crop. From now through November is the best time to come hunt with us!

In the photos you can see how extensive the damage is. All the blotches are where the crop has been laid over and had the heads eaten off.

These are the types of photos the PETA people need to see when they complain about the need to leave the hogs alone!

Wow. I forget what the estimated crop damage per hog as per tpwd, you got a load of it. Wanna say it's 3K per pig in a given area.

Vegans need to pay surcharges on their food.

Here piggy piggy! Deep Deep S. TX.
Farmer will make more money from charging hunters to shoot the hogs then the 2-4 dollars per hundred lbs he will get from the milo.

What I meant to point out is he will make more money charging hunters to shoot the hogs then the crop damage the hogs are causing as milo and corn have been cheap last several years.
Cars and cars of milo or corn add up to some $$$$.

I grew milo at my club over here in Flah-Dah quite a few years ago.
The hogs tore it up. Then the deer. Then the turkey. This one crop(like chufa)is great or drawing all kinds of critters. Not so good though if you are gonna try to sell the crop.
It is very rarely grown as a sellable crop over here. --- pruhdlr

Last weekend, we found hogs in every Milo field we looked at. Good think we were in a high rack or we'd never of seen them.
