I figured I would post pics of some of the damascus pattern I have done.
First is a variation of the ladder pattern seen in the how to forge a knife tutorial.
This is called a laddered W pattern.

I dont own a Damascus pattern knife. I just never got around to buying one. Your work is beautiful. And watered steel's (Damascus) blades historical role in warfare is probably unparalleled. Owning one is on my bucket list.

That feathered one really appeals to me. Anything you have to offer in that already made?

See post below. The I do have a billet of material that I made to put a couple more together. But that will be a couple months out. That feather Bowie was displayed at the National Knife museum in Arkansas. The museum has since closed and I just sold that knife in Sep.

Actually Dan this one is available through a purveyor. If interested I can send you the website. This pattern was developed by a friend of mine named Bill Burke. Winding River Feather pattern.

I am looking for a smaller knife, more like that logging cable style. Wasn't sure if you had any made or not. It will be used ...often. Maybe down the road sometime you could keep me in mind. Awesome work you do.

This is a High Density Radial Pattern. Took 100 Hours to put this billet together. Then I had enough to make 5 Knives.

This is another ladder. Just too sexy to leave this one out though.

This one came out as a neat zebra pattern. This was a 3 moose knife.

I can see that Damascus Steel could be an addiction all it's own. Sweet pieces there.

Thanks all. Yes it is an addiction. I like making Damascus more than any other part of knifemaking.
