Found this little Colt Lawman MKIII in 357 mag 4" bbl
With holster. Gov't issued in late 60's.

Very Nice! Hit the blued steel with some Flitz metal polish, and some Neetsfoot oil on the holster... both will really pop even more. Congrats, great find.

The bluing is very nice on this. The right grip is cracked and scratched, almost like the guy fell to that side.

Hmmm.... m'be a TINY hole (or two) drilled into the crack from the back side, a little epoxy injected with a needle/syringe and clamped? Old English (dark) furniture oil to blend the scratch coloring? And, m'be some Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil hand rubbed onto the repair?

But, also, a set of Pachmayr Grippers are always a nice thing too.

I do trust you but...I found it tucked away in my sock drawer and am thinking of finding it a new home so someone who appreciates these Colts can take care of it.
