Looking at all theses folks getting $400 clamps and tripods I went searching

The full with crossbar you can tilt and pan depending on how high the scope is set up. With a red dot or day scope and no riser you modify to the second set of pics. This configuration you have to tip to go up and down. It has 4 legs and when you tip up and down you are still on 2 legs or more, the legs do not move independent. I would not take it hunting but sighting in, working up loads, maintenance that sort of thing is fine. Maybe sitting in a blind but I can't see it being a spot and stalk solution at all.
