what was the cause of your FTF ?
were you shooting factory ammo or handloads
Hand load. Probably something to do with not cleaning after close to 700 rounds. Haven't even lubed it since Feb. or Jan.

I spent about two hours cleaning two of my main rifles yesterday and was amazed that they still functioned prior to cleaning

At least you're getting some action.
Last couple of times I've been out I haven't even fired a shot. The hogs have moved on for the moment, it seems.
No one grows grain crops around where I hunt, just pasture and hay, so I reckon the hogs are attacking other areas. Meanwhile, Keep After 'Em!
