Looking for any recs on a fh or comp for my 68 build. Somthing quiet so no brakes. I have a 2A T3 comp on my 556 and it rings your head for hours after the 1st shot. Id love a small can but dont have the $ now. Anyone use arps vc?

Black River Tactical "linear comp". It directs the muzzle blast forward and doesn't destroy your hearing with one shot. (takes several shots for that) You still want ear pro if you intend to shoot a lot.

Another vote for the BRT linear comp. An added bonus is it doesn’t have to be timed - no messing with shims.

I recently got a Noveske KX3 for a 12.5” barreled upper and I like it as well. It seems to do s good job directing the muzzle blast downrange. Pricey but it might warrant consideration as well.

I have a couple of the KAW Valley Precission linear comps on my guns. One on a 6.8/AR and the other on a 308/AR.
They are a good compromise between mitigating the effects of recoil and loudness. ---- pruhdlr
