I hate Windows 8.1

I have a 32gig Sandisk card in my DVR. I checked the files in the DVR and it only showed 1 file so I was afraid it was recording over each file every time I recorded another video. I pulled the card out of the DVR to try and download it onto my "new" 3 month old laptop, that I let someone borrow. I installed the card in the laptop and it recognized the card, showed me that there were 7 videos recorded instead of just 1, so that was good news. But no matter what I tried I couldn't copy or import the videos from the card to the laptop. I tried for 30 minutes this afternoon before I finally had to leave for a Dr's appointment. Everything about it is just a major pain in the ASS! Sorry rant over. Back to your regular scheduled programming.

Has anyone tried Windows 10? Is it worth trying the free upgrade??????

What does laptop say when you are trying to copy video?

As a workaround solution, you could upload to YouTube then choose "download" feature from YouTube to get them on your laptop. Though it would not be original file.
