I have attended several of this type of meetings here in Fla. The state biologists and game wardens release some great into. They are generally there to answer your questions and this is the time to discount some "ol wives tales" re. hogs and hog behavior.

As an added extra you will get to meet some like minded hunters,guides,and property owners. This is the time to talk to others about places to hunt and or hunting methods. This is where I have made some contacts re. deer depredation permits and farmers with a real or imagined "hog problem".

Our meetings here are always concluded with a BBQ (wild hog) dinner. No charge for the meetings over here either. --- pruhdlr
