Agreed.. plus his rifle is locked into a manfrotto tripod and hogsaddle - which effectively adds weight to the rifle.

I have lost a high percentage shot twice while guiding newbie friends waiting for them to shoot first.

Never again – I now tell them that the goal of the evening is not for them to get their first hog, but for any hog in a scope will go hooves up, even if they don't get a shot at it.

I believe introducing people to hog hunting is critical for the sport and ecosystem, but the owners have me on the property for elimination, not education.

Yes, the howitzer helps push recoil to side, back and down.
