    6.8 12" 120gr CBB MKZ or 120gr SST

I love the 105 CBB in a 12.5" 6.8. They havent let me down yet. Even took some whitetails out to 362 yards with them.

Afraid in the Jungle alone at night

Only time ive been spooked in the woods is walking down a road to a field on my boss deer camp after midnight. About 700 yards into the walk i hear something to me left, I take 5 more steps and hear it again. It sounded about like a armadillo. Take 5 more steps and it sure sounded bigger. This...

Best 6.8 Factory Ammo for Whitetail deer?

Ive used the 120gr SST, 90gr Sierra Varmintor, 100gr GMX, 115gr Hornady BTHP, 110gr Vmax, and 105gr Cavity Back Bullets. I bought a bunch of the 120gr SST on a clearance so ive been using them the most. Unless its for a new farm with big hogs then ill go back to the 105gr CBB's for the most...

    FLIR Pro PTS233 Finally

:D Yea out to 600ish yards you can tell how long the necks are on a deer to determine Hog/Deer/Coyote. The resolution on the screen is amazing but you can tell thats not whats holding it back. And the 30hz wasnt near as bad as i was expecting. For the price i like it, very big difference from...

    FLIR Pro PTS233 Finally

Ill have to get on some more deer and see how it does but id feel comfortable at 200 yards to see if it was a buck or doe. Coyote at ~600 yards last night we could tell what it was by how it was moving around.

Yea pretty much blobs. Watched them for a little while and determined by the way the move that they were deer. They were grazing along and every few min they would bring their head up and look around.

On Hogs, Deer, Dead Cows and Responsibikity

That is sad.. Ive had to put down a few cows for a farmer after they got sick. Then he told me how much money he had in them, pretty expensive critters that is for sure. I watched 2 hot spots in a large field last night in the thermal. They had cows out the week before but we didn't see any by...
