The 80 degree temp won't effect the image quality as much as you think. The humidity will. However, a 640 resolution scope with a minimum 3x NATIVE magnification will make it happen. Brian gave you good advice.

I think I can help more with the hogs. Give me a heads up when you make it out this way. It would be nice to at least have a few beers together.

This is the problem I have with trying to record with the RXQ30V. I use the zoom on my phone, but it degrades the image. My point and shoot degrades it too. Just one of those things.

Before you order this make sure the bushing that goes over the ocular lens will clear. I've ordered something similar and it wouldntnfit over the housing.

Here is a hog at 60 yards obscured by wheat. Picture is taken with a camera behind the scope. The image in the scope is better than this. My camera kept washing out the left side of the view because the barb wire that was up close. And the after effects of a prescription for lead pills.
