The short mount is ok if you aren’t switching between different rails. I haven’t had it work loose but I have to adjust the screw a turn or so for each gun’s rail or the monopod pole I put it on when scanning with it. Each picatinny rail seems to require a little adjustment. This gets old quick...

Thanks, yes pretty sure I’ll send my Zeus in also. Problem is it has only blinked under recoil in a couple of situations - very sporadically. It’s kinda like taking your truck to the mechanic to show him a problem but it runs fine when you get there.
