EoTech zero and battery

I have had the battery out of my EoTech EXPS for about a year. Will it hold zero when I install a new battery.

Easy way to find out ... try it and see !

(I never tried exactly that experiment with mine ... my dot had broken up into multiple dots ... I ran it through several ice storms and apparently that was bad ... so I turned mine in during the return program a few years ago)

I never had mine loose zero ... but I did have it conk out twice due to recoil (on a 5.5.6). I flipped up iron sights and continued.

Thanks. Lost my lease year before last and removed the batteries so I did not have to worry about leakage. Was going to shoot it as you suggested just seeing what everyone else had seen happen over time

I will say I changed the batts many times and don't recall a loss of zero. But I didn't leave the batts out as long as you.

BTW, I was using tennex rechargables the two times the EOTECH lost power on recoil. Don't know if that mattered.

Good news is it was dead on. I just run lithium C123

I was thinking the adjustment is mechanical which wouldn't be affected by batteries, but I wasn't sure.
