Left Hand Shooter

With as many AR makers now any recommendations for a left hand 300 blackout other than Stag Arms. I emailed them and wanted to place an order and they replied that I could not and have to wait once they become available with no changes to be made to an order. So I ordered an upper from another company which was very nice to work with but the upper is not the quality I am looking for to hunt with. It's will be ok to shoot some paper but that's it. Or should I just shoot a right hand gun?

I shoot straight right hand rifles after all these years a lefty would mess me up.

Daughter is way left handed and shoots right handed gear (rifle). When I built a couple for her I just added all the ambi things at 80 dollars a piece or more and she loves it and has no problems. I am right handed and love the ambi pieces on there so when I build rifles now I put them on every rifle I am going to keep and add a couple things to the rifles I sell or build for friends. BANG BANG!!

I am also left handed and shoot normal AR-15's. the upper is easy, just add an ambi charging handle. Use a lower that has full ambi controls or add ambi safety and add a Magpul bad lever or the like. In my opinion a left handed upper is just a way to make more money.

I shoot lefty and echo the other's sentiments. I have never been distracted by spent rounds ejecting, and think a left handed upper would take some getting used to, and might mess me up.

There is one advantage to a lefty upper that would be nice though - I use a brass catcher (Tactical Brass Recovery) which is an awesome unit, but when stalking with rifle slung across chest it would be nice if that brass catcher was on the left side (away from chest).

My first build used a Stag lefty upper. All further ones have been standard uppers with ambi safeties. Norgon ambi mag release is nice but I'm cheap and only put one on the first rifle.

I mounted a Stag lefty upper for a 300BLK SBR build and then decided to use a different upper. I realize this thread has gone cold but if you're interested in a Stag lefty upper (never fired) I'd let it go for $100 plus shipping. I'm not trying to get rid of it and therefore not listing it on the classifieds.

Went with the Gibbz G4 Side Charging Lefty:
