New Mounts for Armasight Clip-on's.

Many of you know that I have not been the biggest fan of the factory mount that comes on some of Armasight's otherwise good units. Many of you also know that I think Bobro Engineering makes the best QD mount on the face of the earth, hands down. So, I had Bobro make a large run of custom QD mounts specifically for Armasight CO-X, CO-MR, CO-Mini, and Apollo's. They are rock solid and auto-adjust to any rail. So, if the rail is out of spec there is not need to adjust the mount to that rail, which means it returns to zero on each and every rifle you put it on, unlike others that need to be individually indexed to each platform.
So far, I think it's the best $150 upgrade you can get on these units. We will be having them make more custom mounts for many other night vision and thermal units on the market, so if you have a particular device in mind that you would like to see a great mount for, let me know and I'll see what I can do.



And finally, for a shameless plug...we are a Bobro stocking dealer so if you want a great mount for pretty much any optic, or any of the other fine products they make, there is a good chance we have it in stock, or can get it quickly.

I have one Bobro mount and I love it. Far better than any of the others I have or have tried.

How about a Bobro for the IR Patrol 300, maybe using the unit's rail to mount the Bobro on? Or using the dovetail to attach the Bobro?

I actually have the Zeus/CO-LR/Vulcan/Nemesis mount in the works.

I'll check in to the IR Patrol mount.

I think the Zeus' mount could use some improvement.

Oh, I've got one still in a box........

Bringing this one back from the dead but I'm looking for one of these mounts for my Apollo. The factory one isn't tight for me no matter how I adjust it.

I hear Aaron is recovering and wish him well. Figured I'd post here in an attempt to get in line for one of the BoBro mounts if it's going to be possible to find one.

I finally got one for my CO-LR ...



But I'm not sure about getting one for Apollo ...

If you need an alternative you might try a Larue ... yes I know people don't like the guy ... But I'm talking about the mount They work on the IRD mk2/3s that I've had - and never any wobble. Requires a proprietary tool, yes, but life is full is tradeoffs. They seem to hold real good.


EDIT: Reading above, I see Aaron says he made one for Apollo, so I will try to remember to ask him, next time we chat. But when you chat with Aaron, you have to have your list prioritized, because you never know when you will chat again! Like I chatted with him this morning, but this question was not on my list!
Yes, he is recovering, but not done yet ... and I'm not sure it ever gets done in his case, but hopefully some improvement, ideally steady improvement.
Time will tell.

I have one for the Apollo. Bobro mounts are great, but any recent Apollo will have amd mounts. Once they switched to those Aaron stopped pursuing this.
