You know it is funny as I have a body dump yard also away from the gators and all the hog carcass I have left there ate gone in a day or 2 at the most, I mean nothing left to even indicate there was something there. Hogs, yotes and the buzzards clean it all up!
I would enjoy a video of your gator disposal process. I don't think it will work in my water hole as the 11 footer would span it, but the vid would be nice.

Well gators would probably take care of my raccoons as well. I added water on Friday and just about brought the pool level up to the old standard of full. I am using the muck dug out from the water hole to build up the dam so that more water will be trapped when the rains return, plugging my old overflow tube and adding a newer one higher up. With a bit of luck, come fall, the new and improved water hole will be water and deeper without digging down below where it was (and hence without running the risk of punching a hole through the bottom in our well-drained soils). Off to add more water on Tuesday and hopefully hunt Tuesday night up outside Montague.

I never think! but it is right on the road and no trees, might lose a cam that way. When I put them at the bone pile though I will. I keep telling the wife I can get rid of any body overnight w/o a trace, she says be-careful I don't want you to fall out there...LOL
